Four ways to work with Cajal Bodies
Cajal Bodies works four ways from Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi: run it, build it, draw it or make it, each scoped and handed over on its own. On the ongoing, monthly work, questions get an answer next business day, Makassar time, and it stops whenever you say, with no notice period. All four are done by one person, end to end.
- Run it with youOperators who already have a system running and want it watched and reconciled every month, by the same person who built it.
- Build itOperators who need one thing built and handed over, complete on its own.
- Draw itOperators and owners building a café, a villa or a small hospitality building who need a contractor set, not a rendering.
- Make itOperators who need a podcast edited, a menu printed or a brand piece made once, not a recurring line in a monthly.
Run it with you
Cajal Bodies keeps a system it already built watched every month: rates and content kept current, the booking engine reconciled against what actually happened, the systems kept running, and a short written summary sent when the month closes.
Doni does the work personally, every month, and questions get an answer next business day, Monday to Friday, Makassar time. There is no desk standing by in between.
Per-unit work never rides inside the month: a new drawing set, a video edit, a podcast episode or a print run is scoped on its own, per sheet, per video or per unit, whichever the work actually is, and handed over separately.
There is no notice period. The month stops whenever you say it stops, and starts again the same way, because what exists is ongoing work rather than a plan you are locked into.
What you get
- Rates and content kept current on the booking engine, as things change
- The booking engine reconciled against what actually happened
- The site, the booking flow and the integrations checked each month, with anything broken picked up within the next business day window
- A short written summary at the end of each month, of what changed and what it means
How it runs
- Doni does the work each month, in person, not a team
- Questions get a reply next business day, Monday to Friday, Makassar time
- Drawing sets, video, podcast post-production and print are scoped on their own, never inside the month
- It stops whenever you say, with no notice period, and can start again the same way
Who it is for
Operators who already have a system running and want it watched and reconciled every month, by the same person who built it.
Where this has been done
Build it
Cajal Bodies builds the websites, booking systems and internal tools that dive and adventure operators run on.
End to end, from one person: the site, the booking flow, the payments, the internal tool your staff actually use, and the brand and print around it.
The same work has been done for an operation of our own in Bira, so the questions asked at the start are the ones that matter later: what happens when the signal drops, who counts the stock, and who has to be paid before the guest arrives. Those questions are the audit; there is no separate document for it.
What you get
- Something running, not a prototype
- The source, in a repository you own
- A handover you can maintain or hand to someone else
How it runs
- Agree what it has to do
- Build it in the open, in slices you can see
- Test it against the way the business really runs
- Hand it over with the keys
Who it is for
Operators who need one thing built and handed over, complete on its own.
Where this has been done
Draw it
Cajal Bodies draws contractor sets, architectural, MEP and structural, to the CB drawing standard, for small hospitality buildings.
Every sheet follows the same standard: mono CAD, grids, dimensions in millimetres, printed at a stated scale, a title strip on the right, door and window schedules included. The structural sheets are drawn so a qualified engineer can review them; that engineer's sign-off is required before anyone builds, and it is arranged separately, not included in this scope.
This is scoped and handed over per sheet, never folded into a monthly. A café, a duplex or a small resort building is one set, revised until it is right, and delivered when it is done.
What you get
- A full sheet set, architectural, MEP and structural, drawn to one standard
- Door and window schedules, not just plans
- A set an engineer can review and a contractor can build from
How it runs
- Agree the brief and the site constraints
- Draw the set in revisions you can mark up
- Hand over the final set, sheet by sheet, with the structural sheets flagged for your engineer's sign-off
Who it is for
Operators and owners building a café, a villa or a small hospitality building who need a contractor set, not a rendering.
Where this has been done
Make it
Cajal Bodies edits podcasts, designs print and builds the brand pieces a dive or hospitality operator needs made once and used for years.
Podcast episodes edited and released, subtitled where they need to be. Menus, flyers and merchandise designed and made print ready. A brand system built once and reused everywhere it needs to show up.
This is scoped and handed over per unit, per episode, per print run, per brand piece, never folded into a monthly. A podcast season or a menu redesign is its own piece of work, scoped on its own and delivered when it is done.
What you get
- A finished, released unit: an edited episode, a print ready file, a brand system
- Source files handed over, not held back
- One round of revisions built into the scope
How it runs
- Agree what the unit is and what done looks like
- Make it in a draft you can react to
- Finish it to the brief
- Hand it over, ready to publish or print
Who it is for
Operators who need a podcast edited, a menu printed or a brand piece made once, not a recurring line in a monthly.

Questions people ask
What happens if I want to stop the monthly work?
It stops whenever you say, with no notice period. There is no minimum term and nothing to work through to end it.
Is a new drawing set or a video included in the monthly?
No. Drawing sets, video and podcast post-production are scoped and handed over on their own, per sheet, per video or per unit. The monthly covers what is already running, not new work.
Who builds direct booking systems for dive operators in Indonesia?
Cajal Bodies, from Tanjung Bira in South Sulawesi, builds booking flows, payment integration and the internal tools around them for dive and adventure operators.
Do you take payments in Indonesia?
Yes. Xendit for Indonesian rupiah and the local payment methods people actually use, and Stripe where a card is the right answer.
What is a contractor set, as opposed to a design set?
A contractor set is what a builder actually works from: architectural, MEP and structural sheets with schedules, drawn to a stated scale, not a handful of pretty elevations.
Who checks the structural sheets?
The structural sheets must be reviewed and signed off by a qualified engineer before anyone builds from them. Cajal Bodies draws the set; the engineer's sign-off is separate and required.
Do you edit podcasts for other shows, or only Mythical Beings?
Both. Mythical Beings is produced in house, and the same editing, subtitling and release work is available as a scoped, per-episode piece of work for another show.
Can print and brand work be folded into the monthly?
No. It is scoped and handed over per unit, so a print run or a brand piece is agreed and delivered on its own rather than absorbed into ongoing work.
